Renewable energy from the Eavor-Loop™ offers Geretsried a clean and secure future.
The development of a climate-neutral and efficient energy supply for the country and the region is a huge challenge. Renewable energy from the Eavor-Loop™ opens up a plannable, clean and secure perspective for Geretsried.
During the first construction phase, the Eavor-Loop™ will be designed for electricity generation. In this stage, the project will demonstrate the economic and commercial viability of Eavor-Loop™ technology, not only to Geretsried and the region of Bavaria but to Germany and Europe as a whole.
Expansion of and connection to a regional district heating network will be considered following the completion of stage one. Additional underground loops will then be added, enabling the supply of clean and safe heat to the entire region. According to current planning, we will start supplying heat in the second half of 2024.
